Program Background
Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) supports implementation of the Australian Government's climate change commitments under Australia's International Development Policy, in line with partner government priorities.
CRC supports the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to increase climate investments, drive climate integration, and better address climate change and disaster risk across Australia’s development portfolio.
CRC incentivises funding towards gender-responsive, inclusive climate and disaster resilience programming, particularly in the water, food, nature-based solutions, and energy sectors.
DFAT has engaged DT Global to support the implementation of CRC through a Support Unit.
For further information about CRC, visit the DFAT website.

About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a purpose-driven environment and is motivated by contributing to climate and development outcomes across the Indo-Pacific.
You bring strong financial management expertise and sound judgement, with the ability to balance compliance requirements with practical, solutions-focused approaches. You are comfortable operating in a complex program environment, working across multiple stakeholders, supporting program audits, and other evolving priorities.
You are confident in interpreting and applying financial policies, ensuring accountability and transparency, and strengthening internal controls. At the same time, you take a collaborative approach, supporting team members and partners to understand financial processes and build their capability.
You are highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines (e.g. month end financial closures, and end of financial year deadlines), while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, translating complex financial information into practical insights that support decision-making.
Why join CRC?
By joining the DFAT-funded Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) program, managed by DT Global, as a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sound financial management of impactful, community-focused initiatives. The role offers opportunities to enhance your expertise in donor-funded program finance, contribute to strategic decision-making, and drive efficient resource allocation to maximise development outcomes. Within CRC’s collaborative and purpose-driven environment, you will be encouraged to apply a global perspective, uphold strong governance standards, and support the delivery of sustainable, climate-resilient solutions for vulnerable communities.
The Regional Trade for Development (RT4D) initiative is funded by both the Governments of Australia and New Zealand. It assists ASEAN Member States (AMS) in meeting their commitments and realising the advantages offered by the Agreement establishing the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area, or AANZFTA, and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, or RCEP.
Through the AANZFTA Implementation Support Program (AISP) and the RCEP Implementation Support Program (RISP), RT4D provides tailored support to enhance the capabilities of ASEAN Member States by strengthening skills, building networks, facilitating policy options and ensuring that trade benefits everyone, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), women and people with disabilities.
The Governments of Australia and New Zealand have committed up to AUD 53.3 million to fund RT4D from 2020-21 to 2027-28.
RT4D is seeking a consulting firm/consortium (hereinafter referred to as “the Consultant”) to manage and delivery the end-to-end Project Design approved RISP Projects, in close collaboration with the RT4D Facility and the Project Proponent. The final Project Design will be subject to comments, amendments, and the approval from the RT4D Facility Team, the Project Proponent and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
