About P4I

Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I) is the Australian Government’s flagship infrastructure initiative for Southeast Asia. It partners with Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to foster inclusive growth through sustainable economic infrastructure (i.e. transport, energy, telecommunications, and utilities). 

Delivered through a single team, the initiative is led by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in collaboration with EY, Adam Smith International, The Asia Foundation and Ninti One. The Program’s Head Office is in Bangkok.

P4I focuses on infrastructure prioritisation and planning, policy and regulation, and procurement and project preparation (P4I does not finance the delivery of infrastructure). All services aim to address gender equality and social inclusion, and disaster risk reduction and climate change issues. P4I can respond to rapid requests, but ultimately aims to develop longer-term infrastructure engagement.

Road Engineer - Vanuatu

ASI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer with road project experience. Join our Vanuatu Australia Infrastructure for Development (VAI4D) team in a full-time role, based in Vanuatu and contribute to building roads and improving connectivity to remote communities on this five-year (2024-2029) DFAT funded investment.

The Engineering Adviser – Projects will provide technical assistance, guidance, and mentorship to counterparts in Public Works Department (PWD) and Ministry of Public Utilities’ (MIPU) to support works planning, delivery, and capacity building as a road project manager.

As the foundation of quality infrastructure, P4I also integrates gender equality, disability, and social inclusion, and disaster risk reduction and climate change considerations into all activities.

Tetra Tech International Development Pty Ltd (Tetra Tech International Development) as the managing contractor of the Aus4Skills Program on behalf of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Vietnam, is seeking proposals from service providers to design and deliver an Australia Awards Short Course in Strengthening Digital Readiness in Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Vietnam for up to 25 participants from the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, VET colleges, enterprises and Organisations for Persons with Disability (OPD) (the “Activity”).
