About the Program
Solomon Islands-Australia Partnership for Governance commenced in January 2022 and is an AUD $35.8 million investment where Australia partners with the Solomon Islands Government (SIG) to support its critical priorities over four years. The goal is to build economic resilience and promote policies and practices for sustainable economic recovery and growth. Australia’s objective for this partnership is to strengthen accountable and inclusive governance in partnership with SIG and other stakeholders. The program will contribute to the goal through four end-of-program outcomes (EOPOs):
- EOPO1: SIG has strengthened public financial management and oversight.
- EOPO2: SIG has improved domestic revenue generation and improved capability in targeted areas.
- EOPO3: SIG has strengthened inclusive democratic processes and expanded opportunities for stakeholder engagement in public policy dialogue.
- EOPO4: The program generates strengthened relationships between SIG and the Government of Australia.

The Australia Awards South Asia & Mongolia program is seeking technical proposals from Registered Training Organisations in Australia, or Australian tertiary institutions as defined in the Higher Education Support Act, 2003 Table A, B and C, to design and deliver a Short Course in ‘Indigenous Environmental Knowledge' for up to 15 participants from Nepal, Bangladesh, and Mongolia.

Tetra Tech International Development Pty Ltd (Tetra Tech International Development) as the managing contractor of the Aus4Skills Program on behalf of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Vietnam, is seeking proposals from service providers to design and deliver:
- an Australia Awards Short Course in Strategic Analysis and Analytical Writing for Vietnamese and Lao Government Officials, and
- a four-day Training in Enhancing Strategic Forecasting and Planning Capacities for Vietnamese Government Officials (the “Activities”).
A detailed description of the Activities is included in Part B, Scope of Services.
It is intended that a single organisation (either alone or as the lead of a consortium) be contracted to design and deliver the Activities.
Aus4Skills will exclude proposals from entities on the grounds of bankruptcy, insolvency, false declarations, or significant deficiencies in performance of any substantive requirement or obligation under a prior contract with Tetra Tech International Development or Aus4Skills.
