The Program: Tuvalu Australia Partnership for Quality Education (TAPQE)
The Tuvalu Australia Partnership for Quality Education (TAPQE) supports improved education sector performance in Tuvalu by strengthening teaching quality, learning outcomes, and system capability. The program works closely with Tuvalu’s Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development and Sports (MEHRDS), schools, teachers, communities, and other stakeholders.
TAPQE is delivered in a highly resource‑constrained environment and is strongly shaped by local context, culture, and the growing impacts of climate change. The program supports inclusive, equitable, and locally relevant education pathways for children in Tuvalu.
