The Special Projects Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Support design and delivery of Special Projects, including meetings and events
- Manage correspondence, records, databases and invitations
- Liaise across teams to gather information and ensure consistent delivery
- Draft and monitor grant agreements, payments and financial documentation
- Coordinate reporting, including project updates and monthly financials
- Ensure compliance with DFAT policies and support program safeguarding
- Contribute to communications content and foster innovation using AI and tech
- Build strong relationships, support colleagues, promote inclusion and undertake other duties as required
We are seeking an individual who:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Business, Management or related discipline.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in similar project support or management roles.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills, including the ability to work across a broader team and with external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with demonstrated experience in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, email and the Internet.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgement.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, particularly in a cross-cultural context.
- Previous exposure to, or an understanding of, Australia’s National Training System would be an advantage but not essential.
