The Australia Awards South Asia & Mongolia program is seeking technical proposals from Registered Training Organisations in Australia, or Australian tertiary institutions as defined in the Higher Education Support Act, 2003 Table A, B and C, to design and deliver a Short Course in ‘Policy Essentials for Senior Executives (Bhutan)'

Description

Australia Awards – South Asia & Mongolia (the Program) is seeking a cost-effective training program for up to 20 participants. This Short Course will be delivered via blended delivery over four months, commencing in March 2025 and completing no later than June 2025. 

This Short Course seeks to enhance leadership and decision-making capabilities of the participants so that they are better equipped to address both emerging and complex policy challenges to steer Bhutan’s progress, help achieve national aspirations and fulfill the command of His Majesty the King. Participants should have the opportunity to be experience Australia’s innovative policy practices and strategic approaches through interactive sessions and practical applications. The course will assist in building on the skills of the participants in policy analysis, formulation, and implementation. It will enhance the skills of the participants in the use of data for evidence-based effective policy design and execution and equip participants with strategic foresight skills to anticipate disruptive trends and navigate complex policy challenges.

This Short Course will provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences with both practitioners and academia. They will be provided with opportunities to network with Australian counterparts from the public sector and have the opportunity to gain insights and perspectives within a supportive learning environment.
