Summary
Australia Awards – South Asia & Mongolia (AASAM) is managed by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and is administered by Palladium. It is a multi-country program with service delivery offices in Colombo, Dhaka, Islamabad, Kathmandu, Malé, Thimphu and Ulaanbaatar. Leadership, coordination, and support are provided by a regional team mainly in Colombo, as well as in Palladium’s offices in Adelaide and Brisbane.
AASAM is looking to recruit a Regional Alumni Coordinator based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to coordinate a portfolio of regional alumni engagement activities across the Program.
Description
The Regional Alumni Coordinator reports to the Deputy Team Leader and works closely with the Country Program Managers, alumni engagement focal points, Regional Communications Coordinator, GEDSI Adviser and other stakeholders including alumni and DFAT posts as required.
The Regional Alumni Coordinator coordinates the Program’s regional alumni engagement activities, including the Regional Alumni Workshop, online training activities, and communities of practice. The Regional Alumni Coordinator acts as a practice leader on alumni engagement, providing assistance to country teams as required.
