Program Background

PROSIVU is an Australian Government-funded program that focuses on strengthening governance in Timor-Leste. This eight-year program (2022 – 2030) works in partnership with the Government of Timor-Leste to help Timor-Leste achieve its goal of becoming an upper-middle-income country by 2030. It is Australia’s primary program supporting Timor-Leste’s central government agencies and economic line-ministries in improving governance, economic policy and public sector reform. DT Global supports the implementation of PROSIVU on behalf of the Australian Government.

The Role

The Program Performance Support Officer will work closely with the Program Performance Lead to support program quality and learning, including planning and managing data collection, conducting interviews, managing the evidence gathered, and collating and sharing information.

About You

Essential Experience and Knowledge

• University or institute degree in social sciences, statistics, economics, management, or other related degree is preferred.
• Demonstrate practical experience in the full data lifecycle—including collection, collation, investigation, analysis, verification, validation, and presentation—with a strong ability to identify areas for improvement and extract lessons learned.

Desirable

• Have worked in similar governance program and experience supporting/managing planning, data management, learning and reflection exercise
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilising various tools and mechanisms to collect and analyse both quantitative and qualitative data related to key areas within Public Financial Management (PFM), Economic Development, and Public Administration.
