The Program Manager - Nauru will be responsible for:
- Shape Workforce Readiness - Drive innovative programmes to build a strong work-ready pool, ensuring workers are prepared and aligned with national labour mobility policies.
- Lead Recruitment Excellence - Support targeted screening, interviewing, and shortlisting to match workers with employer needs, while championing quality selection processes.
- Mobilise Success - Coordinate seamless mobilisation of workers to Australia through strong stakeholder engagement and streamlined processes.
- Empower Through Training - Oversee engaging Pre-Departure Briefings, mentor trainers, and develop resources that set workers up for success.
- Champion Worker Welfare - Support welfare initiatives and policies that foster a community of care for workers abroad.
- Drive Reintegration & Growth - Collaborate on reintegration programmes and leverage networks to create sustainable pathways for returning workers.
- Innovate & Optimise Systems - Lead the implementation of cutting-edge recruitment and data systems, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate & Inspire - Build strong relationships, mentor teams, and contribute to marketing, communications, and cross-learning initiatives that amplify the PALM programme’s impact.
We are seeking an individual who:
· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.
· 3-5 years’ work experience in similar project support or management roles.
· Excellent written and oral communications skills with high level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web browsers.
· Advanced research and analytical skills.
· Relevant and up to date experience with modern databases and technologies and in data coordination or data handling.
· Proven ability to plan and manage schedules, files/database and working materials as well as keep confidentiality of documents and information
· Ability to write process documents and manuals
· Experience in facilitating workshops, training activities and coaching/mentoring of others
· Demonstrated relationship management skills, including the ability to work across a broader team and with external stakeholders.
