Summary

Palladium International Pty Ltd, Managing Contractor for the Australia Awards Global Support Unit and the New Colombo Plan Program Support Unit, seeks proposals from suitably qualified organisations to provide merchandise storage, inventory management, order fulfilment and distribution services. The successful supplier will deliver secure warehousing in Australia, an online inventory and ordering platform, pick-and-pack services, domestic and international distribution, merchandise kit assembly, reporting and dedicated account management.

Description

The Australia Awards GSU and NCP PSU require an integrated merchandise management service to support program operations, promotional activities, events and stakeholder engagement across Australia and internationally. Current holdings comprise approximately 59 pallets of Australia Awards stock and 30 pallets of New Colombo Plan materials. Inventory volumes may change during the contract.

The selected supplier will be expected to:

  • Provide secure Australian warehousing for palletised and non-palletised merchandise and program materials, including stock receipt, labelling, stock control and reconciliation.
  • Provide an online inventory management and ordering platform with real-time stock visibility, authorised-user access, order tracking, audit trails and reporting.
  • Provide order picking, packing and dispatch, as well as domestic and international distribution, courier coordination and relevant shipment documentation.
  • Assemble welcome, departure and event merchandise packs and support bulk orders and periods of peak demand.
  • Provide monthly stock and order reporting, a dedicated account manager, operational support, escalation arrangements and regular service reviews.
  • Plan and deliver an orderly transition from the incumbent supplier, including inventory transfer, verification, system configuration and user onboarding; maintain service continuity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainability.

Tenderers should demonstrate relevant delivery experience, warehousing and distribution capability, inventory system and reporting functionality, a credible transition approach, responsive account management and value-for-money initiatives. Proposals must include separate technical and financial submissions, a cover letter and the signed tenderer declaration, in accordance with the ITT pack.
