Summary of Program and Company
Aus4Growth (A4G) is a partnership between Australia and Vietnam and aims to close gaps in policy and practice to support enhanced economic growth, trade and investment, clean energy, inclusion, and digital acceleration. Building on previous programs - Aus4Reform and Aus4Transport - A4G integrates emerging initiatives in energy, trade, inclusion, and digital. A4G will directly support the priorities of the Australia - Vietnam Development Partnership Plan 2025-2030 and the Australia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (March 2024).
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is the managing contractor to DFAT responsible for implementation of the Aus4Growth program. Purpose of Position
The Aus4Growth MEL Unit Program Officer is a mid-level position that will assist the MEL Unit both technically and operationally to ensure it delivers its key responsibilities on time and to a high standard. The Program Officer will support all operations of unit, assisting with MEL activities such as data collection and data entry, monitoring mission and learning workshop logistics, MEL Unit administration, production and dissemination of information and reports, and similar support activities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Logistics and administrative support to the MEL team to undertake its series of learning and planning workshops (including venue booking, participant communications, support materials, etc), and meetings.
- Supporting the production and distribution of M&E tools (surveys, etc) to the right stakeholders at the right time.
- Supporting the preparation and dissemination of M&E performance reports, briefs and other outputs.
- Updating the database and user dashboards, archiving and other digital tasks as directed.
- Assist the MEL Specialists in developing work plans, activity designs, and concept notes.
- Handle procurement requests and financial documentation.
- Maintain project records, databases, reports, and decision logs.
- Contributing to MEL planning, Aus4Growth learning events, data analysis, report formatting and compilation, and facilitating virtual communications.
- Following up on various M&E tasks in order to support the MEL Unit to meet all requirements as efficiently as possible.

Reporting Requirements
This role reports into the M&E Lead for Aus4Growth. Reporting requirements may include but are not limited to:
- Attendance at team meetings, other requested meetings.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting, including risks arising, health and safety incident, fraud and child protection reporting as well as project activity and contextual reporting.

Minimum Education and Experience Required
- Relevant degree or certification in project management/administration.
- Proven experience in project support, administration, or coordination roles, ideally within a donor funded program.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably within a donor funded program.
- Efficient task management, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication; active listening.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage conflicting priorities.
