APEP is seeking technical assistance from an organisation to consult key stakeholders to complete a comprehensive assessment of fresh produce supply chains and support systems.

The study is expected to involve up to 100 days of consultancy work in-country and spread over the months of June to August 2025. It will require travel to fresh produce growing sites in the Highlands (WHP, Jiwaka, Simbu, EHP) and Lowlands (Lae, Port Moresby and Kimbe) where enterprising commercial growers and aggregators are based. Data collection will also be required in Lae, Port Moresby, Ok Tedi, Lihir and Kutubu where most formal fresh produce markets exist.

 

* This opportunity is a revised release of an opportunity previously advertised. The revised release invites responses from organisations registered in Papua New Guinea in addition to organisations registered outside of Papua New Guinea.

Palladium and the Pacific Labour Mobility Support Program (PLMSP) are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified consultant firms to deliver economic modelling and analysis on the economic impacts of the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme in Australia. The analysis will provide economic analysis and policy insights at the national, sectoral, regional and local scales.

This EOI is the first step in a two-stage process to select a suitable consultancy firm to provide the required services. Where consultants are shortlisted to the next stage, they will be provided with more detail to prepare a full proposal. After the second stage, a preferred consultant will be selected and engaged to undertake the required work. The timeframe for delivery of these services is from the beginning of May to mid-August 2025.

The DTL is a member of the PLMSP Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of key PLMSP strategies, including the 4-year integrated delivery strategy, thematic strategies and 10 partner country engagement strategies. The Deputy Team Leader – Strategy Programs will ensure implementation of PLMSP is guided by strategy that reflects the bilateral and development objectives of the program. This role will provide support to PLMSP streams with strategy implementation, including through annual planning processes, key engagements with LSUs/in-country stakeholders, routine reviews and reporting.
