The Australia-Papua New Guinea Economic Partnership (APEP) is a multi-sector investment which is assisting the Government of Papua New Guinea to (PNG) achieve a resilient and diversified economy that provides a high quality of life for all Papua New Guineans. 

The APEP Efficient and Inclusive Markets (EIM) work stream seeks to address common bottlenecks within the system, at both macro and micro levels, to deliver inclusive growth and increase economic opportunities for women, marginalised groups, and rural populations. 

The Strongim Hub, Strongim Bisnis project will work with key partners in the private sector to improve the supply of high quality, demand-driven business support to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in PNG by delivering tailored capacity development support to up to five privately-operated ‘SME Hubs’.

Tetra Tech International Development, the Managing Contractor for the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific’s Support Unit (Support Unit) is seeking Expressions of Interest for the consulting services of an AIFFP Senior Implementation Advisor – Transport, to support the implementation of AIFFP’s approved investment portfolio in the transport sector, with a key focus on maritime investments in Papua New Guinea for up to 5 days a week, for an initial period up to 30 June 2025, with the option to extend to June 2026.

Expressions of Interest are sought in accordance with the Request for Expresison of Interest (RFEOI) documentation.

The Support Unit will exclude a tenderer on the grounds of bankruptcy, insolvency, false declarations, or significant deficiencies in performance of any substantive requirement or obligation under a prior contract with Tetra Tech International Development.

On behalf of the Australian Government, the Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) is inviting proposals from qualified firms to review existing off-grid renewable energy system installations across Papua New Guinea that are situated outside of the PNG Power Limited grids.
