The Australia Awards South Asia & Mongolia program is seeking technical proposals from Registered Training Organisations in Australia, or Australian tertiary institutions as defined in the Higher Education Support Act, 2003 Table A, B and C, to design and deliver a Short Course on Managing Energy Transition for Resilient and Inclusive Growth (Multi Country).
Australia Awards – South Asia & Mongolia (the Program) is seeking a cost-effective training program for up to 20 participants. This Short Course will be delivered via blended delivery over four months, commencing in December 2026 and completing no later than March 2027.
The proposed Short Course aims to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of government officials, energy sector leaders, and policy practitioners from South Asia to design and implement policies and strategies that support secure, affordable, resilient, and sustainable energy transitions.
Through the examination of policy frameworks, strategic planning approaches, governance arrangements and regional cooperation opportunities, participants will strengthen their ability to develop practical and fiscally sustainable energy transition strategies that respond to growing electricity demand, improve energy security, enhance climate resilience and support inclusive economic development.
