The opportunity
Join the Australia Cambodia Partnership for Climate Resilience (ACP4Climate), the Australian Government’s flagship climate investment in Cambodia, supporting improved water resource management and climate resilience.
As the Communications & Multimedia Production Specialist, you will play an important role in helping communicate ACP4Climate’s achievements, partnerships, lessons and impact through compelling photography, videography, graphic design, social media content, digital storytelling and other multimedia products. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will work closely with technical teams, implementing partners and communities to translate complex technical information into accessible and engaging communications materials for diverse audiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated communications professional to contribute to a high-impact climate resilience program, helping strengthen visibility, knowledge sharing and public engagement across Cambodia.
Key responsibilities
- Produce high-quality multimedia and digital communications content, including photography, videography, graphics, social media content and digital stories.
- Capture and showcase program achievements, events, field activities and stakeholder engagement through compelling visual storytelling.
- Develop communications products such as success stories, case studies, publications, presentations, infographics and promotional materials.
- Support the management of the program’s website, social media channels and digital communications activities.
- Coordinate communications and visibility activities for events, workshops and stakeholder engagements.
- Work closely with technical teams and partners to identify and communicate program achievements, lessons and impact.
- Ensure communications products meet DFAT branding, visibility and accessibility requirements.
- Manage multimedia assets, equipment, vendors and other communications-related activities to support effective program delivery.
About You
You will bring a strong creative eye, excellent communications skills and the ability to develop engaging multimedia content for diverse audiences. You will be comfortable working with technical teams, partners and communities, translating complex information into accessible and compelling visual and digital products.
- Strong experience in communications, multimedia production, digital media or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality photography, videography, graphic design and digital communications content.
- Strong skills in multimedia production and editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar platforms.
- Experience managing social media channels, digital engagement activities and online content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Khmer and English.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A creative, proactive and collaborative approach, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working on donor-funded development programs, or in climate change, environment, water or resilience-related programs, will be highly regarded.
