Position Details
- Location: Tarawa, Kiribati
- Contract: Full-time, 24 months with potential extension
- Reports to: Operations and Finance Manager
- Travel: Domestic travel within Kiribati as required
- Position Status: Open to I-Kiribati applicants
About the Role
The Grants Manager will oversee the program’s grant portfolio, supporting grant selection, due diligence, compliance, financial monitoring, reporting, and capacity building for grantees. You will work closely with community organisations, government partners, and program staff to ensure grants achieve strong development outcomes.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Qualifications (or equivalent experience) in finance, business administration, or a related field
- Strong experience in financial management, compliance, and reporting
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and I-Kiribati
- Experience working with data systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable Experience
- Grants management in donor-funded programs
- Community development, climate resilience, or infrastructure projects
- Due diligence, auditing, or policy development experience
Please note: While this role does not involve direct work with children, the successful candidate will still be required to complete a police check and relevant due diligence checks as part of Palladium’s commitment to being a child-safe organisation.
