Description

The Role

The scope of work consists of:

1)     stakeholder engagement and consultation on the implementation of competition policy in Indonesia to build awareness, momentum, and buy-in as well as gauging stakeholder perceptions and inputs to strengthen future amendments and policy implementation; and

2)     leverage on-going work by Prospera on the review of the state of competition and implementation of competition policy in Indonesia and the regulatory gap assessment, and synthesise the necessary insights and findings to be put together with (1) for a public communication material for (3); and

3)     prepare the edited and typeset content of a commemorative book on Competition Law and KPPU 25th anniversary that summarises the state of competition and the implementation of competition policy in Indonesia and communicate a clear message to the public on the role and direction of competition policy in Indonesia’s growth journey. The KPPU is expected to be responsible for the printing of the book.

About You

The Consultant Organization will possess strong qualifications and experience in undertaking similar work.  The company will be able to demonstrate:

  • Five years or more years of professional experience in undertaking survey, stakeholder consultation.

  • Understanding of competition policy, including competition law, trade and investment policy, and other regulations and policies affecting market competition.

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and public communications and related supporting activities such as designing and facilitating workshops, seminars, and preparing public communication materials on complex policy issues.

  • Experience working with and extensive networks of private sector, government officials, and subject matter experts are highly desirable.
     

Remuneration
Various – consulting firm with multiple roles. Rate is according to DFAT Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF).
