The Role

Prospera is seeking a Consultancy to develop a Guidance for Working in Indonesia in an Official Capacity resources package for Australian Government officials working in partnerships in Indonesia through the Prospera program. This guidance will assist Australian agencies to achieve agreed bilateral and program outcomes under the goal of strong, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth in Indonesia. The package will enable Australian agencies to work more effectively with the Indonesian Government by providing insights into key aspects such as Indonesian decision-making processes, communication styles, protocols, and the importance of social harmony and relationship-building in Indonesia.

About You

Key qualifications for the Consultant include:

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey key messages clearly and succinctly to diverse audiences.

• Expertise in graphic design, high-quality writing, and video editing (if videos are proposed).

• Experience in knowledge building, including training or capacity-building courses, and certification as a trainer.

• Ideally, an understanding of Indonesian government structures, cultural practices, and communication protocols, as well as experience engaging with the Indonesian Government.

• ·Ideally, experience or knowledge of Australian government structures to facilitate cross-cultural interpretation of key concepts, such as comparing Australian and Indonesian governmental processes.
   

Remuneration
Various – consulting firm with multiple roles. Rate is according to DFAT Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF).
