Description

About the Engagement
Katalis is seeking a firm to conduct a scoping study on pharmaceutical products and complementary medicine in Indonesia and Australia. The study will specify which products are suitable for standard harmonisation, based on commercial supply and demand analysis across both countries. It will also examine the industrial landscape, buyer characteristics, and the market from each country. The study will then provide a comprehensive understanding of the policy and legal environment for bilateral trade in the identified products, with a focus on standards (and potentially, conformity assessment and enforcement regimes).
The study should also recommend actionable strategies towards standards harmonisation in the selected products. These products will be further discussed or negotiated for standard harmonisation between stakeholders (Government agencies and/or relevant associations) from Indonesia and Australia and can be a basis for both countries to forge closer market integration in these important health products.
The company is expected to have strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulation, standardisation, and industry guidelines. Experience engaging with government agencies, drugs authorities and standardisation agencies and other stakeholders such as producer, hospital and distributors are preferred.
