Summary

The HRMIS and Business Process Systems Developer will be supporting the HRMIS Technical Adviser to roll-out modules across the Ministries. This position will be responsible for analysing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and new modules for the HRMIS and Employee portal. Working closely with the Government of Fiji HRMIS user groups and stakeholders, the HRMIS and Business Process Systems Developer will ensure that the HRMIS solution is developed (coded) and configured (including reporting) in accordance with the intended business requirements, adhering to standard processes and procedures. Effective support will be provided to the Government of Fiji and the IPP team of the Strategic Workforce Planning and Business Process Improvement to develop custom IT systems that automate the core business processes that have been improved as part of the BPI framework.

Description

To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering/ Information Systems/ Computer Science or related field with preferably more than three (3) years’ of demonstrated experience in software development, preferably in a public service environment and/ or a HRMIS system and business systems automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing large-scale IT systems including demonstrated ability to analyse problems, implement innovative solutions using ICT, and prepare project plans and reports.

They will demonstrate good communication skills and willingness to act as a champion for key cross cutting issues which includes gender equality, disability and social inclusion, and climate change/disaster risk reduction.

This position is locally engaged and reserved for National Citizens of Fiji. The annual salary will be FJD 67,000 – 75,412 dependent upon the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
