Role
Palladium is the Managing Contractor for the Australian Government’s Tautua Human Development for All Program. The Tautua Human Development for All program will help build the human development foundations required for Samoa’s health security, economic recovery, and continued stability thereafter. The program prioritises five interconnected pillars of human development: Education, Health, Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and Social Protection. Guided by the Government of Samoa, Tautua provides opportunity to create transformative change in human development by addressing complex development needs though multi-sectoral, innovative approaches that identify and focus on the underlying issues.  

Tautua has three end-of-investment outcomes (EOIOs):  
Government and non-government providers can deliver more inclusive, gender responsive and higher-quality health, education, community and social development, and social protection services in line with GoS priority areas;
Samoans, especially women and girls, youth, persons with disabilities, the vulnerable and those living in hardship, have more equitable access to health, education, disability and social protection services; and
Tautua is an effective partnership between the Governments of Samoa and Australia that supports Samoa’s human development priorities and contributes positively to the bilateral relationship. 

Scope
To provide technical assistance to the Tautua and Tautai to develop program branding content, to be utilized for program branding, reporting and presentation purposes. The TA is expected to work closely with the Tautua Communications and Public Diplomacy Manager and in consultation with the Tautai Deputy Program Director in developing a suite of branded content for the Programs.  

Location
The role is based in Samoa on a short-term basis.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate and Coordinate with the Communications and Public Diplomacy Manager and Tautai Deputy Program Director to conceptualise and develop eye catching and vibrant graphic motifs including both indigenous Samoan and Australian symbols, portraying a visual representation of partnership between both countries for Tautua and Tautai program branding.
Develop an appropriate graphic suite of branded content for digital and physical branding within Tautua and Tautai Program operations. The TA will use the created graphic motif in harmony with the existing Tautua and Tautai program graphic work to produce a graphic suite including:
- Physical branded program collateral (pull up banners, brochures, merchandise, and other physical items).

- Office branding.

- Digital branding for Tautua and Tautai programs including social media graphics for content.

- Graphics applicable for use in videography (including graphics for video introductions, transitions and outros).

- Digital publications including online portals and websites and video conferencing.

- Microsoft PowerPoint master slide deck for digital presentations using Tautua and Tautai graphics.

- Branded Microsoft Word templates for reporting including colour themes, fonts heading styles, table styles

- Infographs incorporating the Tautua and Tautai brand and motif for stakeholder documentation, presentation collateral, flyers etc.

- Ensure final graphics and layouts on-brand with program; Samoan Government and Australian Government and DFAT requirement.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

Qualification in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related fields (preferable);  
Demonstrated professional experience in graphic and product design;  
A strong portfolio of graphics and other illustrations; 
A strong portfolio of branding experience in Samoa (preferable) or in the Pacific;  
Familiarity in working with Indigenous Samoan and Australian iconography;  
A professional familiarity with design software and technologies (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and others); and   
Ability to work methodically, with minimal supervision, and is able to meet tight deadlines.   
Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout the APAC region.
